WHO WE ARE!

Black Owned Woman Business Owner selling Unique Black Power t-shirts for women, men, and children. Danger Educated Black Woman

I AM. . .

Tamíka Jones, MEd,MSR, a lifelong Educator and Philanthropist with a distinct focus on exploring and instructing through Culturally Relevant Education.  As an EduPreneur who lives life through the lens of educating ALL YOUTH specifically urban youth she decided to continue "teaching" through fashion.

Tamíka was born and raised in North Philadelphia, PA and a proud graduate of two HBCUs - Virginia State University & Cheyney State University and a post-graduate Alum of Gwynedd Mercy University.  My love of education, fashion, and love for BLACK People & OUR culture is what has inspired me to love on and launch The Zuri Of Nubia Conscious Clothing.

THE ZURI OF NUBIA CONSCIOUS CLOTHING Fashion are clothes that not only educates but infotains & are eye-appealing conversation starters.  We are intentional in depicting positive images relevant to the African-American / Black / Afrikan experience.

The Zuri Of Nubia is rooted on education and sustaining education with our youth. We are not only about creating amazing Culturally Conscious Clothing that are inspired by Our Culture, we also care deeply about being the “change we are willing to see”. We give back in a multiple of ways. The CEO is an Educator first so we are charged with all of the Principles of Kwanzaa and through monetary scholarships for our graduating high school seniors and those who continue on to HBCUs. The desire to own a business was not just for ownership but for working towards the goal of creating scholarships for current graduating high school seniors as well as those graduates who decided to attend an HBCU.
