Tamíka Jones, MEd,MSR, Philanthropist & lifelong Educator with one of the country's largest school districts. She has a distinct focus on exploring and instructing through Culturally Relevant Education. As an EduPreneur who lives life through the lens of educating ALL YOUTH specifically urban youth she decided to continue "teaching" through her fashions.

The Zuri Of Nubia Fashions is rooted on education and sustaining education with our youth. We are not only about creating amazing Culturally Conscious Clothing that are inspired by Our Culture, we also care deeply about being the “change we are willing to see”. We give back in a multiple of ways. The CEO is an Educator first so we are charged with all of the Principles of Kwanzaa and through monetary scholarships for our graduating high school seniors and those who continue on to HBCUs. The desire to own a business was not just for ownership but for working towards the goal of creating scholarships for current graduating high school seniors and showing EXTRA LOVE to those graduates who decided to attend an HBCU.
